Terms of Service

These terms apply between you and Tournie Maker (“we”) when you use Tournie Maker. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

Tournie Maker lets you create picture bracket tournaments and share them. Anyone with the link can vote without an account. Results are public.

2. Your account

• You need an account to create tournaments. Keep access to your email or Google account secure.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. This deletes your tournaments and their results.

3. Your content

• You keep the rights to what you upload. You give us permission to host and show it to run the service.
• You must follow the Content Policy and only upload pictures you have the right to share.

4. How we moderate

• Every uploaded picture is checked automatically before it’s shown. Pictures may be approved, held for review by a person, or rejected.
• Titles, descriptions and labels are checked against a list of slurs. Swearing is allowed.
• Anyone can report content. Reported content may be hidden while it’s reviewed. Child-safety reports hide content immediately.
• Public tournaments are reviewed before they appear on Explore.
• We may remove content, limit uploads, or suspend accounts that break these terms or the Content Policy.
• When we restrict your content or account, we tell you what we did, why, the rule, and whether it was automated.
• You can appeal each decision once, and a person reviews it. You may also have other remedies under the law.

5. Fair use

Don’t try to manipulate votes (for example with scripts), overload the service, or get around limits or suspensions.

6. Liability

The service is provided as is. We’re not liable for content created by users, but we act on reports as described above. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

7. Changes

We’ll tell account holders about significant changes to these terms before they take effect.
